Someone New Has Come to Live With Us!

We are proud to announce that a new puppy has come to live with us – RoseRiver Lillianna!

From Andi – One of the nicest things that happens when you raise and show this wonderful breed is that you meet such nice people. In my case, I met the nice person first and then was introduced to the breed. Darlene Young, RoseRiver Cavaliers and I met at a library book club many years ago and I was fascinated by her dogs – Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. As I came to know and love the breed, I realized that I had to have this breed as part of our home.

My first Cavalier, Ch. Telvara Angelina, was from Karin Ostmann, Sheeba Cavaliers http://www.sheebacav.com/) and was obtained as a pet. As our Cavalier family grew (AKC Ch. Sheeba Dorothy and Sheeba Rosemary), the timing wasn’t ever right to get a RoseRiver puppy. The time is now and Lilly came to live with us about a month ago. She fit right in with Ivy and Zoey and now is one of the “biggest ducks in the puddle”.

She loves to run in the yard, shred paper and chew on anything that will hold still. The picture is of her at eight weeks and doesn’t really portray what a cutie she is. However, as you can see by the picture, she has Attitude with a capital A. She is a puppy doofas like her Aunt Zoey and they spend hours running in the backyard and chasing squirrels. Stay tuned for pictures and video of Lilly as she grows. We will be showing her in April at the Sunflower Cluster Dog Show.
